How do you check one using windows xp?
Kay I plan to buy a 2nd hand hard disk, check it, and if its good, check sad nko akong old HD para i resell.

Nya pila ka bad sectors ang considered nga bad?

if the brand s is seagate try using disk wizard... but u can check d bad sector through scandisk in the windows... :mrgreen:

START menu - RUN - type in CMD (it should open the command window) - then type CHKDSK

thanks. btw kinsay maka estimate kung pila ka hrs i-scandisk ang 80Gb witha P4 computer? kay nahan ta ko nga gi scandisk na sa seller daan pag abot nko, para igo nlng check then kung way bad sectors buy daun

cant rely on scandisk mga bai better use third party softwares to scan disk for bad sectors.
