google.com is your best buddy.
kinahanglan man na bro sa tanang PC networking. kung walay IP, walay networking.
ok, thanks...am just wondering my internet cafe bzz partner insists of subscribing an ip add from globe,,, dont know much about why....
you mean kanang static na ip? di ba para raman na kung naa ka web server?
i got what you mean bro. you want to start an iCAFE business. well, kung mo sbuscribe ka sa ISP bro(GLBB,PLDT,etc...) it depends kung dynamic or static imung IP. usually kung slower connection, dynamic IP ang gamit ana.Originally Posted by lipam
bahin sa imung LAN, its either you go with DHCP(router set) or static IP(manual set). ingon ana ra ka simple bro.
IP's is always needed in networking. what do you mean advantage? in what case? :lolz:Originally Posted by lipam
Static assignment of IP addresses is typically used to eliminate the network traffic associated with DHCP/DNS and to lock an element in the address space to provide a consistent IP target.
for me the only disadvantage of ip add is limited
kung mo subscribe ka sa PLDT brod, providan ka nila ug public IP address or routeable IP address.. Lahi kini nga IP address kay controllado ni sya sa imong ISP. So dili tanan makagamit ani coz it will result in a conflict in the internet. Kung naa ka nay public IP provided sa imong ISP ang imong router/modem mo act na sya as converter sa imong public IP traffic to ur private IP traffic using sa NAT nga translation... mostly sa router gamit ani nga feature...
