80's BABY KA? UNSA PEYBORIT NIMO NA CARTOONS

hi moderators, thank you for another opportunity to start another thread.

i made the thread to exchange ideas from my fellow 80's babies ba about the FADS on our time when we were kids. lahi naman gud ron. i still say, nothing beats being and 80's baby. life was simple then and the games we played before were more physical and engaging.

share lang ko sa mga favorite cartoon shows nako during the 80's. lingaw lang i share gud. nostalgic bah. labi na ron hugon2x na katapusan na sa kalibutan. at least ba naka share sad ta sa inyo. hehehe.


1. SESAME STREET - di pa uso ang Barney ug TeleTubbies hehehehe. but i'd say it beaten out the two in terms of quality teaching. it was just a simple show of play and learn. some characters might be fancy but it always took the backseat. what mattered then was how fun to do the learning and remembering the character's way of teaching us to count, to read and most especially the values we get from either Big Bird or Snuggleuffagus. It was aired in GMA 7. hahahaha. kapuso dyud ko, sa una pa.

2. SUPERBOOK & THE FLYING HOUSE -kini, GMA 7 gihapon ni. i'm sure one way or another nakakita dyud mo ani mga fellow 80's babies. hehehehe. who could forget about Chris, Joy, Professor Peeper and the brave Gizmo or the naughty Corky, Angie, Justin, Professor Bumble and SIR - the robot. while kids these days are preoccupied with swords and mangas that are somehow at most are very violent, back then we had our share of getting closer to faith and God through the shows. 3. TIGER SHARKS - now the decade we grew up was the hey days of betamax. hehehehe. and with the betamax comes the tapes. remember the weekends na mostly after a lakaw na importante na gikuyog ta we tend to ask our parents na mangabang tapes? Tiger Shark was one of the few series of cartoons featured in THE COMIC STRIP cartoons. This was the "violent" cartoons we experience back then, pero di gud violent. it was a cartoon series of how good forces always beaten out bad guys in the end of each episodes with a little humor on the side. you can see the intro songs here:

4. THUNDERCATS - this is one of my two favorite cartoons that are geared towards the battle genre, just like the tigersharks. pero take note, this are way beyond the level of violence that manga seryes are now. hehehehe. i believe there are talks already of making a full length film on hollywood on this together with VOLTRON. well, i hope so. after all, i grew up watching them.
THUNDERCATS

5.VOLTRON - another favorite cartoon of mine, way back before the famous Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. hahahaha. this was violent, but as i've said, way too far of a violence as what is now. everything "BIG CATS" back then was cool. Tigers, Cheetahs etc. anything furry and big than a pet cat was cool for me then.


so, there you go friends. share sad mo sa favorite ninyo na cartoons back when we were young. hehehehe. basin diay naa ko mga na omit na cartoons na favorite sad nako before o kaha naa cartoons na sikat na wa nako maapil sa favorite.
