What's new:
New races, limited nga sea battles, new cool heroes, new "make your own hero"

What's retained:
Same gameplay.

generals: hhmmm i really don't know...all of the factions are cool...
men of west, goblins, orcs, elves or dwarves..if i'm not mistaken...

you can even create you own hero.
