Solar-powered Apple patents are nothing new, but we'd always thought Steve intended to blanket his devices with the technology. Cupertino's latest patent application shows different -- the photocells are inside. "By integrating both the touch sensors and the solar cell layers into the same stack-up, surface area on the portable device may be conserved," reads the filing. Nerd to English translation: the next iDevice you hold might have energy-giving solar panels built right into that spacious, responsive multitouch screen.

WWDC (world wide developer conference) hosted by apple ceo Steve Jobs.

but here in Philippines its gonna be on June 7 10pm GMT+8 (so 3 more hours.)

in this conference apple will be introducing its new products and possibly the latest iPhone gen! o_O we gotta wait for that..

for years, apple's WWDC was used to introduce all iphone gens (all was surprised at that time.)

daghan patents ang apple bai pero dili tanan magamit/gamiton nila sa ila mga products pero let's hope magamit ni later sa ipod/touch/iphone/ipad.

murag wala kaau surpises karon upcoming wwdc but with apple/jobs we'll never truly know until it happens (there's always "and one more thing"). murag sure na ang iphone 4th gen (w/ front-facing cam) kay ni-leak naman and introduction of iphone os4. i'm hoping for an appletv replacement.

Correction sa time 10 AM in San Fran is not 10 PM here in the Phils. Take note SFO time is PDT, which means 15 hours behind PHT, so that would be, 1 AM here Tuesday, 06/08/10.

Yeah, I can't wait to find out the next gen iPhone, planning to get an upgrade if the improvements are worth it.

I'm actually stoked to know about the updates, hope there'll be youtube uploads in the morning...

And yeah, wrong category... :P
