No beep, no display pero mo ON pa? what are the causes and how to fixed it?

Mga bro experts naa ko gi checkup nga ACER Desktop PC forgot the model ni kalit lang ug HANG while using according to my friend then no display then pag restart niya wala na jud pero mo ON pa jud ang PC. On his system ACER onboard ra jud ang gamit nila and even had 1 DDR2 RAM PC533 and INTEL MOBO and a PENTIUM D processor dual core mao ra ako nahinumdoman na specs.

When at first test I restart the PC several times I think 4-5 times la jud display and no beep etc....but the CPU would still on.

What I did was:

1. Clear the CMOS even remove the battery on it ------no luck
2. Remove the RAM -----------no luck
3. Remove the mobo from chassis to check if grounded ba whatsoever -----------no luck

So I gave up coz la ko pang test but I still have to check and test it with other PSU, PCIEX VIDEO card and RAM.

My questions are unsa jud cause ana na issue? what should I do to fixed it?

unsa man pasabot nmo nga wla najud brad pero mo on pa?and nganong maka.ingon man pod ka nag. On pa?do you see some activity while booting to windows?like the red light blinking near your power button which is we all know the hard disk is running. have you check the power supply of your friends cpu if it's still working?kay most of the time power supply jud ang ilisinan labi na ing.ani na case but still it depends jud..if it's working then try cleaning the rams with an eraser lang the bronze part of it to make sure the contacts are clean..and did your friend also uses external vga card aside from whats bundled sa acer pod brad?kung wla gani last thing is the motherboad njud, cguro niabot na cya sa iyang stage na wear and tear and the most thing we could do is replaced it pero try lang usa sa mga steps na ako gi.suggest nmo if it works then..viola..you have fixed your friends computer..hope this helps brad..^_^..

check PSU, try use a good, working psu

check RAM contacts, clean if necessary

check videocard contacts, clean if necessary

try to turn on with minimal connections...

Try na i disconnect all expansion cards sa system then use onboard display.

Make sure no external device is connected to system.

Kaning in-ani kay hardware jud. Most of the times kay kana bitaw mag limpyo sa system then tantangon ang PROC tapos dli mag butang ug paste pagbalik.

Anyways, murag kabalo man ka sa imohang ginabuhat. Remember the basics.

PSU problem ni xa sir, i encounter same problem, tan.awa dw imo dvd-rom if ever naa ka mag cge raba siga iya led. if yes, then PSU problem ni xa... d na xa kadaog sa imong load.

@devilsburger: Common sense doh klaro sa akong statement. Mo on YES naay instances nga ing ana pero No DISPLAY and NO Beeps.

Mga bros/sis wala jud BEEPS, WALA pud display also Im using ONBOARD lang.

Well I will try the others nga wa pa jud nako ma try maybe PSU. Pero la manjud mag add ug hardware etc...very lite ra kaayo iyang mga sulod sa CPU. Duda nako ani guba tungod sa cge ug browouts and or high/low voltage sa electricity.

Ingon ani man ako-a probs.. kadto lng nahitabo sa ako kay cgurado ko nga na corrupt ang bios kay ni kalit lng update nga nakaboot sya sa cd..

uu ingn anah pd 2 ako, na daot ang PSU sa cge brown-out + low voltage mi... change lng PSU sir, para sure pang ulos lng sah para imo i.try
