Router Goes Unreachable

Need help mga boss....

I can't ping my router if i switched on my server first.
But it works fine if i first turned the router on and then the server.

So.....
Server then router = can't ping the router
Router then server = can ping the router

These are the specs:


Server:
OS: Windows Server 2003

Router:
linksys wrt54g


By the way, server has hamachi installed in it which i think what causes the problem because when i uninstalled it once, the router worked perfectly fine. I installed hamachi back coz it is very useful for me when it comes to "remote access".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in your server 2003 DHCP capabilities is turn on. server 2003 has a router like settings, your router has also a server built to the system that has a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol with auto negotiation.

giving a boot sequence can disable the other and it turns it into like a switch mode. and also giving specific parameters to them can get away your worries and problem that can be solved by understanding network protocols.
