Default suggestions for naked bike 125/150cc?

naa moy nabal-an nga ok nga street bike 125cc to 150cc? so far, ang akong nabalan kay ang honda cbr150 ug yamaha ybr125. naa pud koy nabal-an nga yamaguchi hurricane, chinese clone sa honda cbr150. i like the look of these bikes and my real plan is to convert them to naked bikes. ganahan ko sa style sa naked bikes.

not really planning to buy for now, just checking out unsay naa for future reference.

low displacement lang pud ako tirada kay i don't think there's much use for high displacement bikes here in cebu, considering the type of roads we have. i'm also more into cruising than raising.

    ideas anyone?

if you want a reliable naked streetbike to modify the TMX155 is also a good platform.
it's old technology though with it front and rear drum brakes and kick-start only but got enough torque to smoke the underbones hehe.. it would be easier to modify if your going for that old school look.

another bike worth researching about is the rouser200..

i think the ybr125 is underpowered for it's chassis and weight

you could also try suzuki thunder 125

    researching...research...thanks for the suggestions.

tmx 155? that's pantra, right? pantraysikel? hehe, but seriously, it could have some potential. mas maayo pud siguro ang fuel consumption because of the target market of the mc. then it has a lot of torque and should be very reliable, again because of its target market.

the cons would be its looks. it would need a lot of changes. the gas tank has got to go. headlights need conversion to round lights. the handle bars, shocks and brakes need to be changed as well. the backseat will also need to be changed. the rims can stay in stock for a while but will eventually need to be changed. the engine can stay in stock forever, though! this is a great idea! i wonder what the availability of parts is like, though?

edit: changed my mind about the engine. it's torque focus is going to make it lag at long distance runs. also, bitin ang 4 speed kung long distance run na. this idea is shelved for now.

read up on thunder 125. it's exactly what i'm looking for! the looks is there already right out of the showroom. it's got fuel economy and performance as well (based on other forum posts about the bike). i would immediately go to tigum-mode for this bike if not for a couple of things.

    1. availability of spare parts.
    2. it's a suzuki, i am not familiar with the brand. i'm really comfortable with honda (no offense). dugay lang kaayo mopagawas ug mga nindut nga model ang honda. it's bordering on disrespect already.

    I was expecting this response!
Naunhan lang ko ug post sa Thunder 125. Hehe.

Sir I could suggest mono-shock and big tires. Ipa-fiber na lang pud ang rear end, for it to have that literal sharp a**!

nindot ang thunder bro! disc brake na daan and retro sad tanawon. TMX ok pod kay grabe ka lig-on og makina and classic kaayo og nawong basta ilisan lang og headlight na lingin.

saw the thunder in person recently. nidut jud, isug kaayo ug porma. ang iya lang rear wheel kay dili kaayo gawas. i've always liked the looks of mc's with rearwheels that seem to drag from the main body.

about mono-shock, di kaayo ko convinced ani kay lisud pag-timing sa balance. mahal pud na, kana pud, hehe.

anyway, i'm still years away from buying(kana kung mahitabo man gani! ). i'm just really interested in this and i'm looking for what is available now so i know what to look for in future bikes.

anybody got any idea on china bikes? like the yamaguchi hurricane? kopya daw kaayo ani ang porma sa cbr150 sa honda
