Default Dual Channel or Dual Channel Interleaved

Guys, karon ra ko ka notice na akong ram kay na set to dual channel interleaved. it used to be just dual channel.. ang sa CPU-Z, there's no more Dimm1, DImm 2, and so on.. it just shows 2048 GB.. is this better? or is this a bad setting

    Mobo: P35-DS3L Rev. 2.0
    RAM: 2 x 1GB Kingston DDR2 800
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Interleaving memory is advnace technique use by high end motherbord to improve memory performance. This improve performance sa imo system ky ang processor can transfer more information from or to memory in the same amount of time. Mao na ang meaning...
Karon, if you are using high-end system like server magamit na nimo by configuring it pero kung dili server imo system mas maau pa kung unsa ang default settings ana ayaw hilabti....OK!

I think interleaving is when the system uses all the rams sticks at the same time.
On the other hand if its not interleaved the system waits for the single stick to be filled first then use the second stick. Interleaving gives better performance.
For gigabyte i believe its term is Ganged dual channel mode.
