    Cool CPU goes to its maximum RPM - non OC rig

    ang akong proc kay Dual Core E2200 @ 2.20Ghz

    gi check nako ang BIOS sa iyang Hardware Monitor. ang RPM sa akong proc kay usahay molapas ug 2200
    ang kasagaran nyan RPM sa akong nabantayan kay 1200RPM ra.. unsay cause ana bro nganong mosaka iyang RPM.. im not on OC. coz regular rig lang gamit nako..

    my temporary solution:
    atbangan ug electric fan while naka open ang side panel.. usahay mo ok.. usahay dili.. hehe

    Specs
    PSU: Imaster Pro 600w SLI
    mobo: Asus P5SD2-VM
    RAM: 2x1GB DDR2 PC-400
    using: Built-in VGA - Shared Mem(128MB)

    hope you can help me.. coz magsige ug restart akong pc basta mosaka na a RPM

    RPM sa proc? or RPM sa processor fan? 2200 you mean the processor frequency?

    bay basin wala mataod tarong ang HSF sa imong procie...e check kuno...nakasuway ko ana ni kang a gamay ang heatsink wala matarong ug dapat sa processor....

    Mao na problema cguro bro, hugaw lang. Try sa og palimpyo then balik diri og post with your observation using a clean HSF.

    ang q-Fan man nako naka ignore.. so ang bios na bahala sa pagset ng RPM nya. pero gitry nako na ako magset, so giset nako ug 45 degrees ang targer temp.. so niubos ang RPM.. pero just to make sure akong gipaatubang gihapon ug electric fan..


    feeling jud nako kuwang ra ni sa limpyo.. and mo palit jud ko ug lain fan..


    OT: kung mag pa cleaning ba mo.. apil ba sa cleaning agn HSF then naa kaha ibutang nga thermal paste before itaod ug balik??
