    Default Celeron or Pentium


    Currently P4 2.8 HT socket 478 akong processor, pero naka kita ko sa PCX ug Celeron nga 2.13 Dual Core. Dako ba kaayo ang difference ani nila? Whats the difference between Celeron and Pentium Processors?

    Unsay nindut nga application para pang overclock in windows?

    Unsay nindut nga software pang tweek ug GeForce4 MX 4000 nga Vid Card?

    para nako bai... P4 2.8 HT nalng... dn dapat HT redy sad Imu MOBO grabe ni xa effect bai kusog gyud...
    pero OC? Depende raman na.. kong nindot ba og cooling sytem...
    dn sa memory sad compatible ba na paraOC gyud...

    celeron? ako naa ko celeron na 2ghz bai.. ok raman xa na OC nko 2.8.. stable...hehehe na shock gy ko grabe..
    kng d pa nindot og cooling system adobo ako CPU...hehehe

    Ako comp 400watts power supply cya pero usahay dali mo overheat (especially if dili e on ang aircon inig lunch time). Should I get a better power supply? P4 3.0ghz HT ako comp with PCI 256MB vidcard and creative soundcard. Help pls

    yeah11, if ang Processor ang mu overheat then maybe ang problem kay ang Thermal Conduction sa imo Processor to the HSF. Suwayi ug limpyo ang HSF then if init gihapon, maybe you need a better Thermal Paste.

    kerlwinph, nangita ko ug to adjust my FSB in windows instead sa BIOS. Dual core man gud to nga Celeron Processor, and I read nga nindut to siya mu overclock even with stock HSF.

    In summary, the main differences between Celerons and Pentiums are in the areas of bus speed and L2 cache features.. (Higher the Better)

    It's still better to overclock your hardware from the BIOS..

    You could use Coolbits for your MX4000 Vcard.. (Google search?)

    P4 w/HT is naturally a single core proc.. the other one is obviously dual? :mrgreen:
