Default laptop always plugged in lessens battery life?

Ingon ako migo ba nga ang laptop always plugged in sa outlet lessens the battery life. kami man gud when im in our house, always jud ni naka plug para when ill go out. full bar pa.

ingon siya, igo lang ni i plug pag lowbat na. mura kuno ug cellphone bah.

kung, sige pod nako ni ipa lowbatt, diba naa lang pila ka cycle ang lithium battery? i guess mga 1000 cycle.

    tabang daw gamay ani.

modern battery packs have overcharge protection unit. so bisag naka plug ka 24 hours, okay ra na... the issue there is the heat emitted by the laptop. the battery is exposed to heat coming from the laptop for that long, thus degrades the cells.

and li-ion batteries are typically in its most usable life 2-3 years from manufacturing.

if you really need to plug your laptop all the time, i strongly suggest to remove the battery pack nalang. to avoid heat exposure, and other possible circumstances life failure of overcharge protection unit.

If your laptop is new, di na madaot bisan e-plug pa nimo whole day with the battery. The problem comes with heat, diha na madaot imong battery.

it depends on what type of batteries you have. check out what type you have and research them. some types last longer with deep cycles of discharging and recharging. others fair better if they don't get discharged so much. research lang bai.
