Thumbs up Improving the next electoral process

now that the election is finally over, let's now move on and start thinking how to improve on the next election.

    I'll start...

1.) BEI should be more organized with their procedures. Giving priority number is a good queuing process and this has been proven in the banks, pharmacies..etc, but the main problem I'd observed was during the retrieval of election documents prior to giving of the ballots. Also the thumb-marking, signing of documents and inking of the voters after the ballot is fed to the machine, this is where the major stalling begins.

My only solution here is to make this procedure automated. Thumb-marking and signing of documents can be done DIGITALLY. All documents should now be in digital format already.

2.) BUG DOWN of the PCOS machines - I suggest for every schools, there should be 1 or 2 PCOS machines on standby for the quick replacement of the defective machines. What happend was, the 6000 backup machines were in MANILA. Kinahanglan pa i-ship to the regions nga nag kinahanglan ug machines..tsk tsk

mao rani..I know others will have other things to say with regards to the improvements of our electoral process.

The good thing out of this election is we have lots of room to improve our shortcomings. At least it was a good start. Let us never lose the lessons we have learned.

    1. In our place, they combined 5 precints and call it a cluster...
2.The machine in our cluster suffers a setback due to paper jam...
but because there is only one technician deploy in the school the downtime lasted to
    30 minutes..
--i assist nila ang school kng pila gyud kabook kinahanglan nga tech...o i-trained nila

kani ra akong na obserbahan...but over-all okey kaau ang automated pool election..

the next step would be to automate voter verification.
dili i-count ang ballot if dili verified sa same PCOS machine ang voter's ID (swipe lang sa baba sa PCOS, murag ATM ba.)
unya ang presinto angay nga padak-an ug capacity. From 10voters at any given time to 30voters at any given time.

    3. after fill-up sa balota, ihulog sa PCOS, butangan ink ang tudlo, then before gawas sa room pirma ug thumbmark sa original list of voters...

paspas ug hapsay kaayu kay dili mag-abot sa signing ug placing of thimbmark... nya naa pa jud priority number....

unlike sa ako prcinto, walay priority number (taas kaayu linya), pagsulod pangitaon imu name then pirma, pag-gawas pangitaon nasad imu name for thumb mark... then ang imu pirmahan pagsulod mao ra sad imu butangan thumb mark pag-gawas... di madungan ug accommodate ang pasulod ug pag-gawas, ang resulta, hapit abti ug tungang gabii..
