Hello Science fans! As of most of you may not have known, on 30 April, 2010 was the 50th year of the invention of the laser by Physicist Theodore Maiman. physicsworld.com is celebrating this by giving away a free pdf download of their latest issue. Physics World magazine is one of the most prestigious magazines for physics at the same level as Nature, Science, and Scientific American Magazine. It is what most Physicists who want to be up to date about other fields of physics they don't specialize about. So, it is really written is simple plain language that most people can understand. hehe

haha! lightsabers are simply physically impossible. hehe! Gun Laser blaster? Powerful CO2 lasers do exist but not really practical as a weapons since they're too huge.
