Default Can we save human memory into secondary storage devices (i.e. hard disk)?

is it possible to convert human memory inside the brain to bytes?or save it to a hard drive so that we can access our most precious and memorable moments at anytime...

We actually do that nowadays albeit in crude ways--you've got pictures, audio recordings, and videos. Granted, they are stored externally and is an "indirect" way to store our memories of events. I believe it will be quite some time before actual direct downloading of one's memories will be possible. One reason is because we don't even know how these memories are stored inside the human brain. The simple act of parsing all that data to binary format is still a big question mark. And how much data exactly are we talking about? Carl Sagan even said that if you compare the number of neurons in the brain to the number of molecules in a grain of salt, mas daghan pa ang molecules in a grain of salt, so how do you store memories that are significantly more complex than a grain of salt?
