SE K800i or Nokia N73?

Which is better? Overall?

Bros, need your help, coz I'm planning to buy either of the two within this week...

Both have 3.2 mp cameras but the K800i's camera shots are reportedly better as compared to the N73's, especially at night, with the former having Xenon flash..

N73 on the other hand has symbian... therefore, more flexible in terms of apps.. although limited pa ang S60 3rd gen apps as of now...

Size-wise, N73 (110 x 49 x 19 mm) is a tad bit longer, wider but slimmer than the K800i (105 x 47 x 22 mm)...
Negligible weight... K800i: 115g, N73: 116g

Screen: same for both, QVGA 240 X 320 pixels, TFT 262K colors
Screen size: N73: 2.4 inches, K800i: 2.0 inches

K800i: tri-band N73: tri-band with quad-band support

Music player: relatively same for both... although 2 speakers ang N73, K800i only has one.

Video: K800i: Ancient QCIF format (3gp format), N73: CIF format at 15fps (mp4 format)

Memory card compatibility: N73: Mini SD up to 2G, K800i: New, expensive, unpopular Micro M2 card up to 1G...

Look and feel: Both are candybar phones, no problems related to slide/flip phones...

Which do you think is better mga bros? Need your opinion. :mrgreen:

N73 is not a quad band.its a tri band na support lang sya ug quad.Just like k800i its tri band pero pwede sya mgamit sa mga quad areas.pero iya signal not as good as quad band jud na mga phones =)

As for ur question,it really depends on your needs.if you want office docs,etc go for the n73 but if you want a multimedia phone only go for the k800i.kasi the bigger the screen mas dako consumption sa batt.my phone is k800i on an average use maabot pa 2.5 days ako un nga lang the only problem is the video=) As of now kabalo ko pinaka dako na m2 is 1gb,it costs about 4k.

Tnx for the clarification bro.. Actually, my gf has that phone (K800i).. I was the one who even tested and got it for her... Really loved the camera quality... and Yes, the bigger the screen, the higher the batt consumption... But on the plus side, it would be noteworthy to say that the N73's battery life has significantly improved as compared to the N80's... :mrgreen: Truth is, I really don't need symbian... If only there was a java application for opening office documents (or is there? hehe)... Kung pwede pa lang mu-add ug document viewer application on the K800i, ox na ox na... hehe. Coz I really want to have my documents on my phone... I'm used to it na man gud, being a SE P-series owner and follower... Can't wait for the P990 na eh. Daghan daw issues regarding the PDA phone.. Need to shift from UIQ -> Symbian -> Java. Hehe.. 1Gb ang highest nako nakit-an na M2 so far... Was hoping naa pa 2Gb.. hehe.

I think it really depends on the consumer.for me lang,i think nokia are prone to hangging maski sa memory card nimo save unlike ericsson d lge sya masave sa memory card dle lng nimo papunuon ang phone memory wla jud hang.I can say this kay akong fon b4 k8 is n70 and mostly nokia jud ko b4.kaya when i have the k8,imm really satisfied. tanan multimedia sa memory stck nkasave,ang msgs lang sa phone memory but up tp this day wala pjud nag hang(buyag lng) lol... =)

Point well taken bro... Waaahaha.. Already got the N73.. According to my supplier/seller, ala pa man sad negative feedbacks ang phone... pero bago pa man sad gud. Hehe. Hopefully wala lang jud intawn. Hehe. Paspas naman sad ang processor sa N73 kaysa sa N80 pero it still wouldn't justify the fact na "pala-hang" jud lagi ang mga nokia phones. Hehe.. So far so good.. love the screen and camera.. surround speakers.. Batt life's way better than the N80's.. :mrgreen:
