Kraftwerk is difinitely the most influecial of them all.........

and Depeche Mode is the most popular that it created so many clones

cause and Effect, Camouflage, Red Flag, Information Society etc...



and even guitar based New Wave bands have synth pop elements in their songs like Duran Duran, and Tears for fears...



and many of you are familiar with New Order.... formerly Joy Division .. the band definitely shifted from post punk to new wave to Synth Pop.........
