i am in the market in buying my first dslr. which is better? olympus or pentax? i am eyeing on the highend models so that i would not upgrade for a few years. my father is also a hobbyist and he told me that i can only choose from olympus and pentax. i would be grateful for your insights on the 2 models.

nikon D3s triumphs over canon 1D MarkIV in reviews. N(nano) lens is the flagship lens of nikon as per L(luxury) lens from canon. L lens is made from flouride, while N lens is made from nano microns. although i don't own(earth will turn upside down if i will) either of the two flagship models but i tested both of them personally as well as touring the features/menus.
