Pelaez is unfit to become mayor...Marina Mall is proof of it!

Looking at the way Efrain Pelaez operates the Marina Mall that he also owns, he is clearly incompetent to run for mayor of Lapu-lapu City. Consider these facts:

- The mall looks and smells dingy and unsanitary...its surroundings are littered with trash and spit!

- The parking area reeks with slimy lecheate deposits, especially along the road beside Save More. What a marvelous showcase of environmental hazard to the tourists who frequent the place!

- The mall does not have enough comfort rooms...what CRs it has are smelly, cockroach-infested and without toilet paper, decent doors or door locks...worse, according to the mall's security guards, these CRs have become places of fornication!

- The parking area beside Julie's canteen has been subdivided without permit into numerous sari-sari stores...it looks just like the vendor-infested sidewalks of Colon Street!

- The mall's hallways, especially outside Cafe de France is filled with noisy vendors selling everything from pirated DVDs to ngohiong, siomai and dugo-dugo...the place is simply a free-for-all vending place disguised as a mall!

- The place is teeming with minor-aged workers who are regular prey to pedophile foreigners that frequent Pelaez's watering hole, Cafe de France!

- While Pelaez sips coffee inside smoke-polluted Cafe de France, hupo-hupo tour guides, hookers and swinders are hawking their trade a few meters away from him, raising suspicions that he is on top of these illegal activities!

- Majestic Restaurant which Pelaez co-owned went bankrupt and closed down permanently because of his great management skills!

- The mall has escalators that do not function...along with other facilities, these have become mere props!

- Vendors operating the sari-sari stores that have taken over the mall's hallways are complaining of excessively high rental rates...how much more if Pelaez becomes mayor!

- If Pelaez cannot even manage Marina Mall well, how much more an entire city of thirty barangays?

Judging by these facts, no wonder Pelaez is considered by many city residents as Magellan reincarnated...Come May 10, don't be surprised if his ambition to become mayor will meet the same fate as Magellan's invasion!
