I came across some sites claiming U.S. patents to some cool aircraft designs. We have seen functional AVROCARs and VTOLS in documentaries but I was wondering if the patents in these sites were correct in an engineer's and scientist's point of view. Feel free to comment kung posible ba ni or dli.

Antigravity has time and again proven to be just impossible, given our current understanding of physics. Those patents for antigravity devices are snake oil, nothing more.

The concept of "anti-gravity" is still in hypothesis stage--no one has ever successfully created a practical device that can demonstrate such an effect. The only closest examples of "anti-gravity" vehicles are hovercraft systems and maglev trains, and they absolutely have no effect on the law of gravity.

helicopter and airplane has anti gravity concept, don't you think?

04-15-2010, 11:26 AM #8Helicopters and airplanes are still bound by gravity, in fact, if there was no gravity, helicopters and airplanes wouldn't work as they are supposed to work. "anti-gravity" has a totally different meaning, and you need to read the Wikipedia entry on that to understand what the topic is all about.
