Default Expose: Divide and Rule tactics employed on rebel soldiers.

It was implemented in the Magdalo officers. The Navy Magdalo of Trillanes and Layug were treated harshly while the Army group of Maetrecampo and Gambala were treated with leniency. They were allowed to go malling and pursue higher studies. This went on and on until a wedge develop between the two groups.

The same tactic was employed now with the Marines of Col. Querubin and the Scout Rangers of Gen. Danilo Lim. The Marines were treated better. while the Scout rangers were confined in detention areas with lack of food and water. Even the guards of the Scout Rangers deliberately tell the scout Rangers how lucky the Marines are. Sooner a wedge will develop between these two groups. These foul tactic by the military brass could explain why die hards like Lt. San Juan would suddenly changed his mind and betray the noble cause of their group.

The media, unaware of these tactics and psyops, feed on the intrigues by quoting reliable sources and insiders, highlighting the differences and lopsided treatments which the unsuspecting wives, relatives and lawyers readily, with hatred and disgust, tell the stories to their beloved detainees," it said.

If the special operation is not exposed and explained to the detained officers, to their wives, relatives and lawyers, and to the media, "the Scout Rangers would slowly, but surely, hate their comrade Marine officers for enjoying these privileges and leniency.

And when the Scout Rangers, their relatives, lawyers and comrades-in-arms begin calling for equal treatment, their brother Marines would also begin hating them until antagonism will lord over all of them. Double standard? Nope, this is special ops! Divide et impera.

lol spare the military of some cheap political tirades..... the rangers were under the chief of the army under 3 star gen tolentino it's his perogative he could even order them to be shot immediately..and the rangers is the army chiefs elite unit but maybe he feels they are not in his control so he have the hand cuffs

the marines where under 3 star chief mayuga it his perogative if he wants them to be treated like that , er he already said in an interview during the feb stand off he would rather resign his commission than see his marines killing each other with that u could see the difference maybe he still believes he is in firm grip and have the command intact

OT besides the marines have heavy tracked vehicles like the old LVT6s and some good oil wheeled v300s and with main 90mmgun, troopers have 90mm recoilless rifles, b40s 60mm mortars and some 105mm artillery and will move by battalion formations compared to the rangers with company size formations with at best heavy m60 machine guns and some 50s barret rifles .... in 89 coup a single marine battalion wrecked havoc and captured many strategic places....

funny i though u despise the afp blaming them on all the killing and badstuffs anyway spare the military lol

In mathematics, we have the four basic operations as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. It doesn't matter how you manipulate these as long as you arrived on the correct answer. And in this regard we have to divide this adventurists so that we can get the correct answer which may not be pleasant to istoryador.

lo dont fall for istoryador's divide and rule conditioning, there no such thing betwen the marines and rangers..it just so happen the navy chief and army chief handles the situation differently its their call,....not even the afp chief of staff can tell the his chiefs on what to do unless he wants some micro-managing which no one wants....
the thing is they are now in the process of being court martial ....

    Yeah, read first.

And, for the last time, please be kind enough to provide LINKS to reputable sources! News and exposés without citing sources is hearsay and folklore at best. Saying 'log on to the Sundalo website' is like finding a needle in a stack of needles.
