An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

This is why I'm not engaged in any serious relationships right now because I'm basically not ready to sustain one. Caution is a virtue.

In general, people make mistakes... they either live with it, work with it or they don't. As long they have justifiable cause in separating, divorcing their partners or annuling their marriage, no one has cause to judge.

Most can only hope, pray and strive that the unhappy fate that befall on the separated, the divorced, the annulled, will not fall upon them.

Know your partner well before getting married...Marriage is a serious task and it might be exciting (at first) but the fact that you'll be spending the rest of your lifetime with someone, might as well give it some thought. Take note that even some siblings can't seem to stand each others' mere presence, how much more some person of no blood-relation to you. We must take into consideration the flaws, weaknesses, bad traits or habits of the other half. Think IF you are willing to accept and tolerate those before it's too late and see yourself in court rooms petitioning for Legal Separation or Annulment.

When all else is irreconcilable, should you stay or should you leave?
if all efforts have been exhausted and proved futile just to save the marriage..then leave..

as if the family was "saved" by this gesture....

pero if i was the child of such a marriage i would rather my parents divorce/separate amicably ...go on with their respective lives...find peace and happiness...rather than sacrifice themselves for my sake...anyway regardless of everything i would know i am loved by both...sometimes di lang jud mo work out as expected....

    i am for divorce/legal separation

i for one is married for 3 years..but now we parted ways with my wife ( for many reasons )...i know as much as possible u have to save the marraige but if things wont work out well...theres no reason why you should stick to your relationship...its not a reason that u should keep the relationship just for the sake of your child...but there must be a valid reason..unforunately i couldnt discuss the reasons here ( privacy and respect for my x wife )...now i live my life much better now ( me and my son )

Agree. Its not healthy to stay in a marriage that is no longer working no matter how much you try to work things out and compromise on issues if the love is no longer there, nothing is going to work. It takes two to make things work and love is a two-way street. If only one person does the giving and the other all the taking, its not fair sooner or later it will have repercussions, such as one might find someone else or having an affair. There is no perfect life all around but at least you can make yours happy and we all deserve to be happy. You only have one life to live, choose the happy route. As far as the children, they are very resilient its much healthier for them to be in a household where they are not exposed to abuses, bickering and fights between the two most important persons in their lives - the parents that is. If there are kids in the middle and you are married and contemplating on separating or divorcing, things can be worked out but both parents need to take equal responsibility with their children even if both are no longer together.

I'm a single mom with 2 girls life is wonderful no stress nothing like that
