share lang ko sa experience ko...this happened mga first week of feb. my son is asthmatic, one night na feeling nako is grabe na despite of nebulizing him, i rushed him to the hospital around 4am..SA EVERSLEY HOSPITAL IN LILOAN (public). i really dont have money at that time and that is the nearest hospital sa amoa..(wala man gud sya na-apil sa hmo) syemre, sa emergency kme and we are expecting immediate respond. they got the details & vital signs. there was only one patient ahead of us.we sat & waited for the doctor..mga 15mins, nag-ask ko where is the doc...nagpa-anak pa daw, wala daw other doc..same lang ang ang family med & ob..hmmm.the delivery room is just in front of the ER..it was so quiet..(basin wala nag hilak ang baby). ask uli ko if hapit na, mejo daw. no choice talaga coz no money, we waited..almost an hour past, they were not doing anything, not even nebulizing..something seems to be wrong..nurses keep on going in & out sa usa ka room na tinted. then i heard..mogawas na ka, doc? naa'y usa baby..nigawas after mga 10 mins (a fat untidy lady) then she sat just down and seems very, very sleeeeeeeeepy..in a high tone, nag ask ko, is she the doc? they were just looking (nay head nurse and a bunch of practicumes).i got no answer but i knew it..told them, pa-imna sa ng kape para makamata!!! then, i started nagging on a very loud voice (AND ENGLISH, HEHE) YOU TOLD ME THAT SHE HAS A PATIENT, THEN NATULOG LANG DIAY!!! THIS IS EMERGENCY, RIGHT AWAY MO-RESPOND MO, IF YOU CANT ACCOMODATE PATIENTS, YOU BETTER TELL ME BEFORE HAND RATHER WAITING AND FINDING THE TRUTH!!! i went to the doctor..'IKAW ANG DOC?" ISOG SAD SYA .INGON NYA, DAGHAN KO PASYENTE KANINA, AKO RA USA KA DOKTOR,DONT SHOUT AT ME.(kaluoy) told her, eh di sana nagclose na lang sa mo, gibutang ninyo "CLOSE UNTIL THE DOC WAKES UP" YOU SHOULD BE ALWAYS READY FOR PATIENTS, IF YOU CANT HANDLE IT YOU SHOULD QUIT YOUR JOB, WHAT IF MA-UNSA AKONG ANAK? WLA MO GIBUHAT, HUH?..she said "daghan man hospital" hmm...nice answer noh? told her that even if this a public hospital you should give quality service (pang call center) especially this is a matter of life/death..we shouted at each other...ako sad gikasab-an ang mga nurses..next time, you should give the right expectation kaysa mad wait ang patient..mga bakakon mo!!! sunod-sunuran mo s docktor maski sayop ang gibuhat..i will file a complaint..PERIOD. nilom sila tanan..the next day, tawag ko sa director! lesson learned..much better talaga if private (luoy jud ka if wla ka'y kwarta). ako na syang gi-enroll sa hmo maski nay deduction every month... bow.
