Hi! Just want to ask your opinion guys if which part or places in Bantayan will your recommend and how much does it cost?

Google the Bantayan site. honestly when your in bantayan there are a lot of options board and lodging prices can vary from 300 to 3000.especially during holy week so expect prices to soar up to 200% . i suggest that you rent a motorcycle if you know how to drive 1. or bring your car thru barge kinda expensive thou around 1800 for a multicab and 3k for cars depending on the vehicle one way! the problem are the habal habal or any people waiting outside the pier some can be notoriously TIKASAN. BEWARE! so before making decisions or planning to rent a motorcycle be sure to have an agreement and be very clear about it.

Bantayan is becoming sour from these people. all in all it's still a wonderful place.

yes nadayun ko. nope wa nako gi barge ang sakyanan mahal kaayo kanang 1800 para ra na sa mga multicab nga pickup type and one way ra nang 1800!!! maka nganga gyud ka! and whats worst is diba tag 100 raman ang overnight parking? we have to pay double the amount kay per day ra daw nang 100! would you belive that!? daghan kaayo mangingilad sa pier! not to mention kanang mga habal habal ug mag abangay ug motor sa bantayan.
my first experience in bantayan was not so good. but i do like the hospitality of the place where i stay. im not a beach person but all i can say is the beaches are better than camotes.

if you are going to bantayan island nearing the holy week, expect that there would be more people then the island could hold but the experience is worth the while. dont forget to join the processions during holy thursday and good friday. the giant carosas are spectacular.

bantayan island is the only place in the entire catholic world thats allowed to eat meat during the lent season and that is a fact. there was a papal order written. the document is in the bantayan church.

there are actually 3 towns ni bantayan island. sta.fe, bantayan and madridejos. sta. fe has the known beaches and are full of tourists. madridejos which is the farthest town still has the same beaches but resorts not as well known as in sta. fe.

the beaches in bantayan island are awesome. expect that the resorts will be fully booked but some resorts allow tents.
