sir, kindly send me some sort of guide on how to identify imitation cellphones.
sometimes i have to rely on the images posted if there was a brand shown, or if there was none i can't be sure if it's a clone or not.

i understand your concern about piracy and intellectual property rights but these sellers are not passing the items as ORIGINAL, therefore buyers are forewarned. they know what they are buying. BUT if they are selling it as original where in fact and in truth its not thats another story, they have no space in this respectable forum.

other items are just like or almost the same as the original but they have a different brand. (see the case of beer na beer vs san miguel) in that case san miguel loss the case.

who are you to arbitrarily pass judgement whether its counterfeit or not? even courts takes time to review.

life is hard and these sellers are trying to make a living, lets not deprive them of the means to sell their goods.

this RULE is not about selling fake items as original. so your argument is way off.

when this thread was started, during that time pages and pages of class AAA offers are being posted in the classified sections. yes they put class AAA in the thread. yes those items are not allowed here.

bottom line, bawal yan dito. this is not a court of law. this is a public forum which has rules for its members and that includes you.

i sell class AAA items in my store such as compatible batteries and stuff (clearly label them and inform the customer) but i DO NOT ADVERTISE them here.

its not about depriving anyone of the means. this is not a place for those items.
are you going to say this forum is depriving prostitutes from selling themselves here? no, coz this is not a place for that either.

I believe the following entries as very easy to understand:

No Clones, No Imitations, No Replicas Allowed

Site-Wide Rule #6
Selling Class A Imitiations, Clones, etc - this applies to everything: apparels, gadgets, bags, scents, accessories, etc


Simple Question & Answer:

Is it an imitation product? Yes
Does it carry the necessary identification marks and seal of an original product? No
If so, then it is an imitation, a fake, a replica
Imitations, fakes and replicas are not allowed to be advertised/sold here.

As simple as that.
The rules did not say "Selling imitation items as original is not allowed."

We do understand that people are trying to make a living, but let's do it the right way.
We don't care how many cars you have sold out here.
There's no limit as to how many clothes and accessories sellers may advertise.
