    Default Karylle in Ayala

Flaming with her redhot minidress caressing the crowd with sultry, playful vocals.

I happen to be in the mall and couldn't what fuss is about in the activity area. of course that audible cooing in the soundboxes is way too much to be ignore.
so I checked out the commotion and there she was playing the crowd with her charms
and to my delight I can play with her too in my own way on what I'm good (or think I'm good at)
w/o having to elbow through the crowd for a best spot (there's no such thing as a perfect spot for photography or in my case) I settle for that spot just by the side of the stage on which I could make the elements work for me.
the strong backlights work wonders on her contour with the right spot metering and blurring out unwanted & distracting foreground. so I snap away!!!
well..it all went well for me given the slight misopportunities of an ideal settings

and its been a while since I posted my shots
hopefully di pa kaayo ni bahaw. I took these during the sinulog season pa.heheh

You captured the images well, however, they are quite underexposed and dark.

i dont wanna use a flash.
and if I did it would only look like photos as everyone might have taken them
id rather go for the lesser lit, silhouette shots for a more emotional feel. like the red on black, dark background. and who would want to photograph a performer like her with a boutique or restaurant as background?
otherwise its just another celebrity on a well lit stage and I dont wanna get my time's worth on those kind of shots. it just happen I was on the mall w/ my cam that time

    tnx tnx people
she's actually a very effective performer though I'm not that a big fan of hers
she's not actually one of the best singers yet she played the crowd well that time
I've seen her up close before on the same stage a couple years back. I guess she was playing a support role or a substitute for this stage version of...I think it was one of Disney's animated movies.
    and she's sooo approachable.

colors are rich already (thanks to custom white balance settings) but you need to push 1 stop ang exposure kay gi compromise ni sa camera ang exposure, the actual light ani nga makita sa mata is a little higher than what is set by the camera. Pushing it higher will mimic the real felling sa light at that moment.
