revealed that Crysis 2 will have lower system requirements and improved graphics capabilities when compared to Crysis.

So either the original engine was very poorly optimized or we're in for a much smaller sandbox experience. What seems certain is that Crytek are now a cross platform developer who no longer see PC gamers as their core market.
