Default to tell or not to tell?

is it really important to tell your adopted daughter the truth?

Yes you should, I suggest you should do it when she is capable enough and mature enough to understand and absorb it.

    yes it is.

and its better if she hears it from you first rather than from other people.
but don't rush it, wait tell she's older... like when she is 13 or something.

My parents told me I'm adopted when I was 6 years old. Nakalimot nko kung unsa ang akong reaction when I first knew it pero nadawat ra mn nako daun. Better tell the child when she's less than 10 years old. It'll be easier for both of you

i agree..lisod nang i tago tago pa gyd..it is better to let it out..there's nothing wrong if your adopted, as long as you are taken cared well and loved too. papilion ko, adopted pero happy ky love kaayo sa parents...or true son/daughter pero battered and or neglected...i choose the former of course..if you raised her/him well, im sure he/she will understand
