hey anybody here whos got fake ngipons? unsay may pros and cons sa pustiso kay plano ta ko ipa pustiso ang akong mga side na mga ngipon kung ok man...

* hey, i have an aunt who is an ortho. and i remembered her saying that kung ma save nimo imong ngipon keep it jed. ayaw pagpa denture kay lahi ra jed kaysa tinuod. if there's nothing wrong with your teeth then keep it and take good care of it. pero kung naa make sure that ya find a dentist thats not after your money lang but who's also really concerned sa imo and your teeth. if you really wanna have dentures then go for the permanent ones kanang di matangtang tang bitaw? kana murag e cement sa imong gums.

disadvantages sa pustiso (am basing my opinion sa akong late tatay kay pustiso man to iyang upper set of teeth kay old na siya) di siya ka eat og mga gahi nga foods. such as gahi nga karne etc. and then magbantay pud siya kung too cold or too hot and iyang imnon kay basi daw ma crack ang iyang dentures. and then he had to regularly limpiyo iya dentures everynight, he takes it off. butang niya og container which has a solution and he soaks the denture overnight para ma limpiyo.

ok salamat kaayo . mura interesado ko anang cement technique da. ill try to do a research about that.

ang problema man gud sa ako kay pahak na akong mga sides. naa na gipang ibot and naa pud ibtononon pa. and ugly kaayo tanawon.

I suggest that you find a very good dentist or ortho. With all the advances in cosmetic dentistry, naa jed mahimo ana imong dental concerns karon. Bitaw, do some reasearch and if you're in Cebu try visiting or calling dentist and ortho or try asking your friends, officemates if they know of a really good one. GOODLUCK!

if pwede, paroot canal ka nalang. sayang jud ang ngipon nga tinuod ilisan ug fake. makabad breath ang fake basta dili ma maintain ug tarung. Minus points pud na... when you have a root canal, better put a jacket or support para dili pud mabuak or maliki ang tooth nga gi root canal kay weak na man na after a few months sa operation....

.. my sister is a dentist and an ortho, i keep on bugging her to give me false braces or even false teeth ( pustiso ), you know for cosmetic reasons only, hehe. I wanted to have fake fangs, hehe. But she keeps on refusing for reasons that it's bad to take these things liightly. That if your teeth doesnt need tampering then it shouldnt be touched. it's kinda unfair really, i give her the latest spectacle frames and i don't even have cosmetic braces, hehe.

@godcode...if you lost a tooth already what you need is bridges. mao na i cement sa dentist. be ready to shell out cash though coz each one will cost you at least 8t depende sa quality. then even if you only have lost one tooth, you have to have 3 made to put on each side for support. as for maintenance you need to buy a dental water irrigation called waterpick to maintain the bridges.

If your teeth are still intact, don't like how it looks, and don't wanna go through braces then I suggest you get veneers. it's somewhat like crowns pero ipapilit lang. around 12t each.

but before you decide what needs done make sure the dentist is reliable like everyone else said. kay naay uban nga dentist and i won't name names diha sa cebu nga kwrta ray giapas then ang work is sloppy.....make sure gyud na before gitaod ang cosmetics that everything is cleaned gyud, wa na gyud cavity ang area.....
