Motherboard Upgrade???

Nagplano ko nga magupgrade og mobo. Pwede ba moderetso lang ko ilis og mobo w/out reinstalling/repairing windows xp?

Technically pwede kung mobo lang jud ilisan. Uninstall nimo tanang drivers daan sa imong OS. Tapos pag load sa Windows (usually mag safe mode) sa imo PC nga nay bagong mobo, install / re-install nimo drivers.

Nahimo na nako ni kapila. Problema lang ani kay driver conflict, instability, etc. So dapat backup daan tanang important files.

Pero pwede.

i have mixed experience with this...some cases allowed me to boot directly into windows and some didn't and needed a fresh install.

same with CE, changed my board then booted it up ok raman sad and also tried in another pc nga wala jud. Don't know the real reason behind it ngano pwede sa uban and vice versa.

experienced this situation like 2 days ago...different boards, from dfi to asus.....booted OK but opted to do a fresh install.....

If its the same chipset ok ra. Mostly problems arise if your shifting from intel to amd. Paniguro nalang, if you don't want to do a system reformat better uninstall all drivers from your old mobo before booting up to the new one.

kaning kang sempron is the best explanation. mao na ingon sa akoa sa comp-e sa pcx about anang sa pag balhin2x ug HDD na way install although sakto sad mo kay nag install man sad ko ug kanang drivers ra ang gi delete nya reinstall sa tanang new drivers. tapolan man gud ko haha pero ang pag reinstall ug OS pas2x man unta pero hasul. it would be better diritso nalang format pero maytag na lahi na daan nimo ug partition imong mga files daan para safe2x gamay.
