hardware or software problem?

My friends dvd burner just started having errors after burning 4 dvds.

21:05:04 Session fixation error
21:05:04 Could not perform end of Disc-at-once
21:05:04 Burn process failed at x4

BenQ DW1640. note the problem just came on after succesfully burning 4 discs before the 5th one. tried other kinds of disc after that but with no results.

maybe its hardware if you try it on another PC nya check its output kung same ra ang results kay if on the first place ok siya then ni kalit ra then most likely hardware na siya except kung nag kuti2x ka sa mga settings etc.

it seems nga the above error was genereted by an application...na try nba ug pa-read lng an dvd burner kun mkabasa pba ug optical disc...

sa application rana naa cguro na usab na settings or naa conflict sa imo software application.

try another media brand.

tried other media brands with the same results, the drive can still read and copy data from media.

wala may na usab sa setting sa application, default raman tanan.

Update firmware sa imu optical drive.

^^^ its a symptom of defective burner then..

have u tried it in its lowest burn speed? its the way to use it as per my experience with these kind of error.

what software u're using? nero? try powerISO | Cheettah burner | alcohol120

sad to say.BenQ is a low end burner..

got 1 sa haus, maayo gani kay pakapin ra...pang install na lang.can't burn anymore
