    Default Some Legal aspect in Employment


    Guys... Na ngita ko ug thread that discusses about contracts, health benefits, pay, night differentials...taxables( especially the difference of tax between married and single ) and insurance but found none...so this might be the place to start one...

    I believe it is helpful in newbies in the employment world like me...

    please enlighten us...

    sakto na si kit...adto ka ani sa BIR apply ug TIN.. Mas gamay rajud deduction if married ka if naa pa ka anak.. if single puerting dakoa hapit gukod imo salary

    Daghan kaayo variables kini imo topic bro.
    Regional Wage Board Dictates the minimun Salary of the employees but will depend on the
    status sa City if Class AA, A, B ... etc.

    Department of Labor has minimum standards also for regular employees' benefits
    e.g. PhilHealth, SSS, Pag-ibig, 5 day incentive leave, 13th Month Pay and retirement benefits when
    the employee can complete certain period of employment.
    Portion of these remittances to the gov't will be shouldered by the company and some portion by the employee, normally 60%-40% sharing.

    There are also standards for salary premiums you can also double check with your HR
    Regular Holidays
    Special Non-working Holidays
    Overtime Premium
    Grave yard/Night Premium

    sometimes there are company regulations about No-work no Holiday Pay
    or there are also company provisions about no overtime premiums with respect to prior absences.

    BIR has guidelines on TAX exemptions you can read at the back of BIR form you can ask from your HR
    These exemptions will vary also from being single, married and/or with dependents.

    With regards to CONTRACTS bro, it is just a written agreement between two parties.
    so if you are not agreeable to certain provisions in a contract don't sign it.
    If you are forced to sign a PROFORMA contract in your office, you can use it against them in the courts.

    well first of all thank you for your replies...

    perhaps you can present some no.? like a rough estimate on deductibles, percentage of tax that you have to pay? and how much i can save if i declare dependents? can i declare dependents in the long run after having my tin??

    sss contributions?? not really sure bout all this stuff...

    but i know since my father worked in a company before and he had tons of deductions....

    lets say for example my salary is 10k a month...how much will be shed if im single?
