iphones have international warranty except here in the phils. Apple had an agreement between Globe telecom(the sole provider of iphone in the phils). only iphones sold by globe will have a local warranty.
we've not encountered any problems with the iphone so far, as long as you handle the unit with care.
as for software problems, just click Restore on itune's.
