1. remove autorun.inf from root of USB drive. delete unnecessary files and folder.
2. use only trusted and virus-free pc with updated virusscanner/trojan/malware/worm utilities. turn-off autoplay feature from USB drives and use WinKey+E and use the left-side panel to browse your drives.
3. been using AVAST! without anything to worry about.
avast! Free Antivirus - Download Software for Virus Protection
Hope this helps.

1. if your planning on deleting the virus be sure not to use file explorer built in from windows. dont use the auto play forgot the name which pop ups when you plug your usb. like the other poster said delete the autorun.ini most of them have some code that will open an exe delete it too. if your using some 3rd party file explorer set it to show hidden files theres a chance that your folders are hidden and replace with a exe file with an icon of a folder..
2.dont use your usb on net shops if you need to use net shop make a back up of it in you pc. i can remember the days where floppy disk is the most common source of viral infection. use 3rd party file explorer look for something that you like. i use total commander
double click a drive drive = epic fail if you dont know where it came from scan it before opening
3. some usb virus are not detected by anti virus. prevention is better than cure.
