the server of the computer shop where i work got this spyware 3 days ago. the computer does'nt have any anti-virus or anti-spyware/malware installed. what we did is that we installed a mcafee anti-virus in other computer then install the infected hard disk and scanned it. But it's not totally cleaned. so we downloaded "smitRem", and it's done. no more spyware anymore.
post any other advice on how to eliminate this spyware!!!

its not a spyware bro.. its an adware.. A rogue software. becareful what you tick on the net. spceailly offers.

just install antispyware apps like ad-aware se or spybot...both these apps have realtime protection. it will help prevent ur pc from getting malwares when surfing..

spybot cant kill it buddy!!!.. iits not a spyware.. its a nasty adware or rogue/fake software. Originally Posted by arclops
