meditation is a good relaxation technique for those who are suffering anxiety problems. Many of us have anxiety disorder, but the intensity in every person varies. Some even suffers much that their normal functioning is affected. For those who love to read good books about anxiety problems, I would recommend triumph over shyness by Stein-- it is a good book that addresses social anxiety. Feel the fear and do it anyway by Susan Jeffers is an excellent book. You may also try the dance of fear by Harriet Lerner and Who moved my Cheese? by Spencer Johnson.
