    Default change printer settings in ubuntu


    i installed canon pixma ip1980 in ubuntu and i just want to change the settings to fast para mka save ug ink sa printer...

    anyone knows how to change some settings on the printer using Ubuntu OS? just like in windows we can change the printing quality to fast, standard and high...

    Go to System>Admin>Printing then right click on your printer go to properties which will give you the printer configuration.

    select PRINTER OPTIONS on the printout mode on the pull down tab select DEFAULT GRAYSCALE.

    tnx bai...pro dli mn sd pwede ang grayscale ky mawala ang color...and if even nka grayscale high quality mn ghapon ang print niya...

    try the default color cartridge setting. Para nako ok ra man even if color kay mag pa refill ra man ko (mas less prone to ink head clogging kay HP man ko)
