Hello istorya friends.. I'm new here, I was searching for a new apartment in Cebu and found this site. I must say this site is GREAT, so much information. I love this site..

I'm American I been to The Philippines about 5 times never to Cebu. I plan to take my first trip their very soon. I'm really searching for new friends in Cebu. I would like to learn as much as I can about Cebu.. I would like to know the best place to live for a foreigner.

I'm a City guy So I like to be in the city.

First of all, a warm welcome to iStorya.net (and soon, Cebu) Sir!

Have you tried checking the Real Estate section? There are a lot of options there, and you could always ask if you need any clarifications regarding location, accessibility, etc. Don't forget to compare and research as you're not familiar with the market prices in Cebu (you'll get used to it though ).

Regarding the hot spots, almost every establishment in Cebu got Wi-Fi. Nah, just kidding. We've got the Destinations forum for you! Just note that not all the places listed there are in Cebu, just do a little research and ask around

Thanks for all the views and replies. Anyone have any idea of a good location I should start searching? I was thinking Mandaue or Mabolo.. Not sure to be exact. Can anyone help.. I don't drive so I need a location easy to access around the city..

Yeah thats a good place to live. You can also try Talamban or Lahug or maybe in CEBU CITY area..
