Default 3Monitors - Eyefinity or Matrox tripplehead

    Hi,

I just want to ask, unsay requirements for Eyefinity.
La man ko kaayu kasabut sa website sa ATI.

What's display port? do i need a monitor that has display port?
im reading nga mahal daw ang active display port (which is a requirement - not to mention expensive kunu - $100-$200)?

From what i understand, i just need to buy 3 monitors (not sure if i need special monitors) and an ATI video card. then just connect all three?

    sakto ba master?

was planning to get Matrox Tripplehead which cost around $200-$300
Matrox Graphics - Products - Graphics eXpansion Module - TripleHead2Go
which is exactly the same price as a new ATI videocard.

so question, what do i need to make this happen? 3monitors with Eyefinity?
or better to go with matrox?

Mga Sirs, I Tried Running the Eyeinfinity na using just 2 monitor. Imu rana e connect imung monitor sa Dvi port sa imung videocard, but if you want to use 3 monitors for your eyeinfinity, so you need to buy an ACTIVE display port sir. Same ta ug gpangita sir, ako na g libot tibuok ayala ug SM wala gyud silay baligya ani, pero nagpapangita sad ko sa akong friend sad ani naa sa singapore & Hk ron. Ill just Buy online sa US tag $99 rana ang dell display port(ACTIVE). I suggest you go for ATI videocard.

Matrox isn't a good idea, it also limits you the resolution of your lcd's which is stuck @ 3 x 1680 x 1050. I don't even think you can pick a higher resolution for all your lcd monitors in actual in-game options.

Normal 3x lcd setups would get you @ 7680x1600 and even offer that option in-game.

hala gdhana mag eyefinity oi, kutob ra tawn ta 1 lcd

yep. i wanna play 3 lcd. upgrading my powersupply first. then im deciding if i go for Eyefinity route or Matrox route. My lcd is samsung t220 (1680 x 1050) so ok ra matrox. planning to get another 2 t220 samsung. This is my plan for this year kung kaya pa.

Im deciding if i should sell my nvidia card and get ATI for eyefinity. ang problema lang diay is the active display port thing. Or go for Matrox and have another nvidia card for SLI. mahala ani oy. both setup pareho ra gasto.

    Eyefinity - DisplayPort($100) + ATI ($400)
    Matrox - ($300) + gtx260($200)

pareho ra istorya. i guess sa matrox maka SLI ko.

Ill still go for Eye infinity sir, coz New Vc man gud cya then Ati now is much faster than Nvidia and its ddr5 already compared to ddr3 sa nvidia.

Saba diha, galabi lang imong 32 inch na lcd

Jojo, have you tried doing a 2xDVI and 1xHDMI?

I don't like the idea that a product I bought featured eyefinity, but then I still need to buy a $100-$200 device so I can use the feature :\
