From a reputable source, I have heard that a prominent school in Cebu City will be accepting by next school year, more or less 1000 Chinese nationals who will study nursing.
According to sources, these Chinese nationals will take up BS nursing in the Philippines as a stepping stone to get to the US mainland, its territories and invade the rest of the world where Filipino nurses have a foothold. Thus, we will be lending our nursing education system, facilities, image and credibility to the Chinese foreigners for them to gain access to other lands.
In my opinion, should this happen--- this is benignly unfair considering the number of Filipino nurses who remain unemployed.
Shouldn't we make it an utmost agenda, our own countryman's welfare ?
With our corrupt system, chances are: the Chinese nationals would get through with flying colors and gain access particularly in schools easily manipulated due to its financial drainage and legal turmoil.
Before long, other schools would likely follow suit in order to "cash in" on this moneymaking scheme when BSN enrollees are slowly dropping--and who will take the biggest backlash?
Just please be aware in case this happens because the negotiations are in the final stages.
