do you think is it worth it to buy a new pc set (this means buying a 1156mobo,i3 proc,ddr3 rams,cpu cooler,ati 5770 which would cost around30-35k)?

if im gonna upgrade with my current specs:

i just checked the prices in tpc...intel i3 530 is 5999php <---which is much faster than e8500/e8400

e8400 < 7.5k - 8k php.....

30k? pwede na ka maka-i5 ana, what more an i3. Sell your old rig for additional resource.

this was already announced a couple of months ago. :P anand did a preview about the clarkdales being the successor to the core2duo/lga775 - 2 cores, 4 threads basically.

11k - mobo (maximum budget)
8.5k - vcard(5770 vapor x)
6k - ddr3 mems Gskill Ripjaws cas 7, 2x2gb, ddr3 1600
4k - 1tb HDD

total: 35500php

note: ill just use my st50f-230 kay bag.o pa man ni

or any other suggestions?

Na may lga 1156 nga mobo sa 6-8k range. I rather spend more on the vc instead.

cge lang fixed nana akong vcard kay plano sad ko mag CF in the future...

regarding with the mobo.... yup i can have that kind of budget...

@sir poldz actually i made this thread because im on the process of upgrading my pc and i want a pc that will last atleast 3years and up...like the pc im using now (5yrs)

im actually confused if i will upgrade my 775 to the max or buy the new technology...
