Ganahan na gyud mo palit og dslr pero cgi ko think sa ako nabasahan sa usa ka tips (soure above ) na mahurot kono ang shutter sa dslr?? Dili raba barato ang DSLR unya mahurot ra d.i ila shutter. Pareha nako newbie pa so cgi gyud ko kuha-kuha og pictures bisag asa, kay ihas paraba na at first! hehehe... Hinu0n 50,000 to 100,000 actuations man daw, Pero unsa man pasabot ani kung taas na ato actuations ato na ibaligya ato dslr ?? palit nasad ta lain dslr?? UNya hangyu0n dayun og barato ato dslr kay taas na actuations?? pls share daw sa inyu nahibawAn.

bai ang pasabot ani is ang shutter life. Most DSLR have specific shutter life corresponds to number of actuations stated by the manufacturer. Kay certain mechanism would fail reaching a specific actuation. Pareha ra gud ug sakyanan bai kung sige nmo dagan maguba gyud na. Pero there are instances that you can prolong the life of your DSLR kung amping lang ka kaayo.

For my opinion I wouldn't worry much much about the number of actuations of your DSLR kung mo-buy ka kay to tell you frankly every electronic has an end of life span. By the time you reach the max actuations on your camera its either obsolete or a new model comes out kay the advancement of technology ron kay pas pas na kaayo. Basin next month naa na new model imo camera.

sir, ang gi mean nimo nga tips above kay katong thread nga gi start nako? katong tips in buying 2nd hand dslr cameras nga thread? yes its true that DSLR cameras have limitations with regards to the shutter. they call it actuations/shutter life/shutter count and the like. IMHO, as what ive read regarding actuations, yes naay limit jud ang shutter sa mga DSLR cameras pero dili na mahurot kay dili mana consumable ang shutter.. hehe.. lol. instead, maguba kay ni abot na sya sa limit nya. sa mga nabasahan pud nako with regards to it, naay mga database sa mga users kung when namatay/naguba/ni expire ilang shutter. other users daw as early as 10k actuations (no. of times shutter was fired) naguba na, ilisdanan na. others pud bsag 200k+ na ilang actuations, buhi lang ghapon ilang camera.. so i guess timing2 lang jud na or depende rajud na gi unsa pag amping. with regards to your question in #2, i havent heard nga naay shutter life ang mga non SLR/DSLR. with #3, yes pwede mailisan ang shutter mechanism kay my tito experienced nga ni expire iyang shutter as early as 15k may gani covered pa sa warranty.

bro, ang kanang shutter ct kay ang gi measure kay ang mirror. it's d flipping of d mirror ang bun-og au during taking pictures. it's either ang spring ang ma-humok or ang gears mismo ang ma-luag. its important to know d shutter ct jst to know f ang price kay reasonabl ba. i wudnt want to pay a high price for a dslr dat hav been used so mch. directly proportional man gud ang shutter ct to how much abuse d cam was subjected to. so there... d shutter ct is just a gauge as to whether d price for dat particular dslr s worth paying.

wid regards to digicams... wala man na cya mirror so shutter ct s not a factor.

@TS: bro, i assume your new to this hobby, maka upgrade nalang ka or ma pul-an ka sa photography di pa na ma guba shutter sa imo camera, so dont worry be happy...anyway if ever ma guba man gani ang shutter, pwede ra na ma replace
