wifi router inquiry

i just want to ask gani, unsa nga model sa router nga naa gani feature nga mo limit ug internet connection sa mga computers?

akong internet connection sa balay kay ako man gud gi share sa ako neighbor nya i noticed naman gud now nga murag dako2x na jud ilang share nakuha kay paspas na ang blink sa status sa LED pirmi. duda lang nako kay basin nag "limewire" or "torrent" na tingali ni sila. basin naa wifi router nga mo limit ana. obvious na jud kaayo kay mas paspas pa jud ug blink ilaha kaysa amo, nya if mag net na mi hinay kaayo, pero if mag torrent pud mi mokusog man pero di na kaabot 75% sa usual namo nga download speed. if mag off na ila (inig kadlawn na) back to usual.

ive been using netgear wifi router, edimax wifi router, nya at present asus wifi router.

maybe its time to change napud.

if your are using the ASUS WL-520GU then you can flash it with 3rd party firmware like DD-WRT or Tomato. Both have QOS or Bandwidth limiting capability.

salamat bro. i will try it. nakabasa naman ko ana pero havnt tried.

surely i will dispose my wl-520gu if mapalpak ko flash. my purpose man gud ani nga router kay ma detach ang antenna nya ma flash pa jud, nya naa pa jud usb port para printer. but sad to say wala jud nako ma utilized.

simple nga soluyon ana kay dili na pagamiton ang silingan.. kung wa sila nagbayad.
