Hi, Istoryans,
Please post your recommended restaurant, your favorite dish (or drinks) and pricing. These info should help everyone save up for the next food trip.
Please post the price. This thread is for the budget-conscious food tripper.
I'll start with the food(s) I like:
- Casa Verde's "Brian's backribs" - P168 - generous serving of ribs, some peas and carrots, plus a choice of rice or mashed potato to go
- Pizza Hut SM's "super panalo" meals (these aren't offered at the North Wing branch) - P98 for singles, P196 for two people - each order comes with free cream-of-corn soup and iced tea, has a selection of pasta, pizza or rice meals. If you order the P196 meals, you get a dish of green salads too
- Jonie's "P4" - P29 only - 2 sticks of barbecue, atchara and rice, really cheap and filling. You just add 20 for drinks or you bring your own drink
- Joven's eat-all-you-can meals at Parkmall - P199 - from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (weekdays only I guess), eat everything you like. I don't know how they call their dishes, but I liked everything I ate there!
- Red Ribbon's chicken empanada - P22 each - I like their P99 and up set meals too (they come with a free slice of cake plus drinks) but my favorite is their empanada. A bit pricey for the meager size, but the taste's definitely worth it
- Spice Fusion's "roti" - P85 - unleavened dough fried to a crisp and served with yummy peanut sauce, meant as an appetizer, served hot and should be eaten while hot
