As Q4 2009 winds to a close many of us out there long await Intels Gulftown CPU. New Leaked CPU-Z shots show this chip reaching up to 6GHz , which is almost a 100% overclock.

Intel’s Hexa-Cored 980X is already proving to be one monster of a chip. Featured six logical cores and rated for 3.07GHZ nominally it may prove to be a top contender in the CPU world when it is released. Although details are still trickling in and are sketchy at best the few glimpses of this Processor do much to stir the imagination in an enthusiasts heart.

1.864 volts this is on LN2. this isn't verified, though so could be a fake or im just being a troll.

look at the instruction sets, naa na lagi SSE 4.2. L3 Cache is 12MB which makes it 2MB per core.

a 6GHz screen shot is absolutely nothing for these CPU's, trust me, once NDA lifts there will be much MUCH more impressive screens other than a simple 6GHz CPU-Z validation
