3000 ako vote![]()
Despite the fact that I am a Loyal Nikon user, in this line of comparison, i would recommend the 1000D.
Why?
Backward compatibility. While the D3000 is the better camera between the two (good reviews), It's lack of compatibility with older lenses leaves the first time user with no option but to buy the more expensive AP-S models. Because of this, you will end up wanting for more in terms of lens upgrade.
If you will just use the kit lens for the camera that you will buy, then stick with the Nikon D3000. But if you plan to upgrade your lens line-up in the future, as i know you will, better get the 1000D.
Just my opinion though...
sayang if dili maka AF sa other Nikon lens. OK ra baya nga mag-manual pero if mga kalit2x nga shoot kay lisod. so 1000D is my vote. :P
O.T.
it is still compatible with old nikkor lenses but you will have to manually focus( due to lack of in-cam motor) other than that metering and other stuff works (except sa mga AI nikkor lenses which is still compatible but metering ang auto focus don't work, manual all the way)... and i think older lenses of canon doesn't work with their newer cameras katong mga film cam nga lenses pa as compared to nikon - (compatibility issues Nikon wins!) ... correct me if im wrong...
