When I was younger, I was an avid JRPG player.
All that changed since the day I first played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) on the Xbox. Since then, I discovered more WRPGs and had great enjoyment playing them.
For me, the best RPG of this console generation is Mass Effect and the best JRPG is Lost Odyssey. This console generation, two of the most anticipated RPGs are about to land on consoles worldwide next year - Mass Effect 2 and Final Fantasy XIII
Speaking of which, BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk stated something about JRPGs.
