Default nVidia shows off Fermi GF100 on SLI

"Continuing to raise hype about the upcoming launch of their first NV100-class hardware for the consumers, nVidia's Twitter page posted an image of Tom Petersen, Director of Technical Marketing showing his latest baby - a Maingear SHIFT machine powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, 6 or 12GB of Kingston DDR3 memory and two GeForce GTX 300-series cards paired together in SLI mode."

Some notable comments over @ XtremeSystems Forums
"GeForce GTX 380 will be 15% faster than dual GPU Radeon HD 5970."
"In terms of performance GTX 360 will sit between HD 5870 and dual GPU HD 5970."

Words on MSRP for GTX 380 is $499 and GTX 360 is $379, if that's true then count me in.

Some notable comments over @ Bright Side Of News
"Another month, another picture... They must be making really good progress? Wow!!!

Where are the meaningful numbers such as benchmarks, power, price? That low SP number does not seem good for games. Is the design skewed too much toward HPC?"

naa na jd! karon pa pakita REAL hardware pictures..

sadly rumored SRP prices are around $650 not $399 for the GTX 380

edit: do i see raven ? hahaha dara o sir jeremy

a big low blow to gamers for this, especially for low SP's.

GTX 380 being 15% faster then 5970 is wishful thinking, judging by the "RUMORED" specs above, which is for the 5870.
Wait for the benchmark and reviews, although i feel very sad for the people waiting for another 2-4 months for this card Good luck this xmas, since il be enjoying my hardware
