I heard that some are selling this gadgets to reduce electric bills. Do this thing really works and if so where to buy?

Nope doesnt work. none of them actually work.
none of them works. what crap.
@budmends boss naa energ saver na pwede sa businees bisag asa!!!pero mostly ang ma save niya na device kana rajud naay mga coil like ref, electric iron, aircon, heater ug uban pa actually boss efficiency ra man ang gi pa taas anag mga power saver device pero to be honest boss it is illegal!!! kay same raman na nag kawat ka ug power supply then ang imong kinawat adto sa lain i charge even if u ask sa veco!!!!! and its unfair sa uban boss [br]Posted on: July 16, 2006, 03:45:28 PM_________________________________________________t here is a power saver desgn by engr dingel!!! a filipino inventor who also design a car that could run a water supply instead of gasoline and it is also tested!!!!
If thats the same filipino inventor sauna nga naas TV his idea was already dismissed to be false, i dont have the link to that offical statement tho pero na basa na nako.Originally Posted by baruk
Energy saving devices are not illegal go ask veco, as long as IT is placed AFTER the electric meter.

Got this from another forum discussion about it.Originally Posted by baruk
Water-Powered Car
For more than three decades now, Daniel Dingel has been claiming that his car can run with water as fuel. An article from the Philippine Daily Inquirer said that Dingle built his engine as early as 1969. Dingel built a car reactor that uses electricity from a 12-volt car battery to split the ordinary tap water into hydrogen and oxygen components. The hydrogen can then be used to power the car engine.
Dingel said that a number of foreign car companies have expressed interest in his invention. The officials of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) have dismissed Dingel's water-powered car as a hoax. In return, Dingel accused them of conspiring with oil producing countries. Dingel, however, was the not the only man on earth who is testing water as an alternative fuel. American inventors Rudolf Gunnerman and Stanley Meyer and the researchers of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory have been pursuing similar experiments.Dingel is a bloody ***** who keeps hiding under mysterious and vague explanations.
If he really wanted to give the technology to Filipinos he would have done so a long time ago.
What are the chances of NOT finding a local industrial backer for this idea?Dingel actually chanced upon a metal alloy which accelerates the breakdown of water to Hydrogen and Oxygen...
unfortunately, his vagueness pissed of DoST officials and eventually his claim for the patent...
It's not so much the government's fault as Dingel is also partly to blame...
his explanation on how his engine is able use water as a fuel is somehow inconsistent... there are times when he includes the supernatural in his claims... hence the reluctance of the DoST to support his claims...
and heres something VERY old but still interesting.

To all the very nice people here:
Thank you so much for your inputs. I am now enlightened.
I have now second thoughts about the so-called power savers.
Cheers people.
