Default When buying a secondhand car

Mag Bros. ngayo ko tabang ninyong tanan.

Maghimo man ko ug checklist para sa points to review sa usa ka secondhand car before ko mu-decide.

Ang engine naa ko mechanic na mu-tan aw. The rest I guess would be my responsibility such as aircon (cool or not) seat covers, brakes etc..

So far I have these on my list:

    Aircon (cool or not)
    Brakes (Pilit or not)
    Wipers
    Windows
    Signals
    Steering
    Seat Covers
Dashboard (if the gauges are still working)
    Paint (Garas)

Thanks daan. unya man mag kita.. hopefully maka kuha ko sa answers ninyo..

    - ask around from friends first if they know of a secondhand deal. its better to trade with people you know.

    - dont buy the first used car you come across unless you can confirm that its a good deal.

    - test-drive to get real feelfor the car. be attentive when doing so.

    - have the car looked at by a service shop before you commit to buying. look for problems that arent easily seen. if the shop finds any, use it as a haggling point.

    - dont max out your budget beacause almost all used cars need something fixed.

    - define what you need so you can prioritize what kind of car you will look for.

    - cars with proper service records are better than ones without.

    - a lady-driven car isnt guarantee that its well taken care of. its actually the opposite in most cases because women usually just gas it up and drive. there are exceptions, of course, because there are also men who do the same.

    - it is often better to pay extra for the same model that is in much better condition then save a few thousand on a car that is beat up.

    - TOP GEAR PH.
    hope this helps

Another important thing diay to look at and bantayanan on your first days with your newly purchased car:

===>Observe radiator water level or coolant level everyday sa imo car for the first few days nga imo gamiton(do it in the morning before using the car samtang bugnaw pa). If magsige kahurot ug magka-ubos iya level, have it checked out and repaired.
It's very cheap to repair but costly kung di mabantayan.

I know a couple of people nga na-overlooked ni. They end up overhauling the engine and worst, replacing the head

unsa nga starlet? katong GT? nice kaayo na if starlet GT .
Generally, IMHO toyotas are good cars, especially nga naa daghang available replacement parts.
Daghang Toyota owners diri who loved their toyotas and naa sad people (like ME) who would want a toyota someday ..
But of course, Mitsu pa gihapon ako preference but would love to have a toyota, too....someday...
Post daw sa link sa imo giplanohan....

    Salamat sa reply sir poy,

    These are really interesting info.

Kaila ra man nako ang ganahan mag sell. Naa ra gani butang dre ang unit sir poy.

    Thanks

Nakakita ko ug thread that talks about engine detailing, unsa na sya? hope you don't mind me asking. Ganahan unta ko na limpyohan/arrange and histura sa engine. unsay tawag sa in-ana na service mga bossing?

    Thanks in advance

    boss lord,
ang sa radiator nga tubig lang sad jud pirmi i-check to avoid overheating later on...if magkaubos ang tubig pirmi, lagmit naa leak so have it checked na lang jud.

Ok jud na ang coolant flush para malimpyo and like norrisee said, 50%water to 50%coolant should be ok. But then water still has the best cooling properties . Just make sure to use distilled water...Coolants are good kay naa anti-boil ug antirust properties

Sa leak, best way is to find out asa dapit ang leak para mabaw-an unsa possible nga part. Let your car park lang sa ug taud2x then tan-awa asa dapit ang leak sa awto by looking asa dapit sa ground ang tulo. Kung brake fluid, bad sign sad jud na especially nga corrosive kaayo ang brake fluid. Be careful in handling brake fluid kay maguba jud imo paint ana..

Starlet GT imo nakuha boss? tsk tsk....nindot kaayo na... I wish I had one sauna , even karon
